I have been a patient at Baptist Beaches wound care since 5/29/2025. The Doctors are wonderful. They treat you with great respect and compassion. They are never in a hurry. They pay attention to detail while being very personable. Patients like that as I am retired from health care and notice those kinds of things. Dr. S ( lady Dr.)( Stottman, I think). I can never remember her last name, Dr. Long are very good. They take time and are patient and will answer any questions you have. The secretary is so professional and kind. Attentive to all who have the pleasure of meeting her.( Kara). The nurses are very top notch. Jenny, Diana and a few others I forgot their names. I paint rocks and have given them some to share with their loved ones. This is the best place to go for care. It’s the best, so I give back the love by sharing my rocks that I paint! Thank you Baptist Beaches for your kindness and expertise! I’m healing wonderfully it’s just taking time. Kind regards and love to all of the staff and Physicians there! P.S. I dont know why there are negative reviews! Scheduling is a breeze. Just show up when you are supposed to and there wouldn’t be a problem. It throws everything out of whack when we can’t make the scheduled time. No worries though, they try thier best to work with you and they are human too. We are all on this planet to give love, grace, kindness and joy and everyone there deserves a few words of kindness and love. I give my kindness by sharing my talents and giving my talents( rocks) away. It brings joy. Thank you Baptist Beaches Wound care! I am thankful I found such a wonderful, caring group of professionals! Kindness matters. Patient, Nancy C. A.K.A. The Rock lady.

I'm not sure why the overall rating is so low. The service and treatment I received was outstanding. Dr Hunter & Dr Lusko were just terrific! RN Sarah and the other RN's are top notch. Had my issue solved in 3 visits. Scheduling was a breeze and all appointments started on time or early. Highest recommendation.

After developing a serious infection from an accidental deep leg wound, I was sent to the Center for Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine at Baptist Beaches Hospital. Dr David Pietrasiuk and the entire staff of nurses & technicians could not have been better, and were very professional, attentive, courteous and friendly. They certainly made a painful and serious situation much better and totally solved the problem. I would highly recommend this office and staff.

Simply awful. Scheduled not one but two appointments (the first one they called back to see what time they had told me and when that was taken told us to come an hour later). In reality, they arbitrarily chose a different time and when we showed up wouldn’t see us because we were late. Then they wanted to know who we spoke to (like it would make a difference) and then graciously offered to let us come back tomorrow. Burn wounds are painful and serious and they wouldn’t even accommodate us. Couldn’t even be bothered. Honestly think it was because there was no one there. Waiting room was empty and a person they kept conferring with was hiding in a room in the back. Arrogant of them to think that everyone has ample time to take off work to accommodate them. Shameful. Avoid.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly mother. She visited Wound Care for the first time yesterday, and when I called to check on her, she couldn't stop raving about the wonderful attention and care she received from all staff members, to include Dr. Covington. She has been suffering terribly with a wound that wouldn't heal on her shin, and this is the first time in months that she's sounded so optimistic about her healing. She reported that she didn't wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room, and she said she couldn't wait to go back next week! Thank you, Dr. C and your staff -- we need more compassionate offices like yours! Suzanne Jarvis-Hermann, San Antonio, TX
