Oxify Manchester - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

First visit. It was a very pleasent experience. We felt safe and cared for before, during and after the treatment. Thankyou

I booked a 15-minute taster session at Oxify Manchester for 2:30 PM. I arrived promptly at 2:25 PM but was unable to enter the building as the intercom system went unanswered. I called the provided contact number but received no response from the Manchester branch. The call was eventually answered by someone in the Leeds location, who said they would inform the Manchester team that I had arrived. I waited outside in heavy rain for around 10 minutes until another person entering the building kindly let me in. Upon reaching the Oxify suite, I found it completely dark, with the door locked and no one present. I called the contact number again at approximately 2:45 PM. The person who answered (again not based in Manchester) assured me that someone would definitely be there and suggested they might have stepped away to the toilet. I waited a further 10 minutes but there was still no sign of any staff member. I eventually left at 2:55 PM, having wasted 30 minutes with no session taking place. This was a highly frustrating experience, especially given the poor weather and the lack of communication or staffing at the Manchester location.

I loved the chamber and the efficiency of the whole experience but I was let down on my last visit horribly. I booked a 4:30 appointment and arrived stood in the rain buzzing to no avail, so I rang oxify who told me a staff member would come to the door. I was then escorted into the building to find no one in the oxify room?? So I myself had to ring again and was told due to a mix up the staff member would arrive at 5:15 and I would get a call back after a discussion with the manager. I was told if I had nothing on afterwards I could wait and then get my full session. I don’t understand the point in saying that when I specifically booked a time? I had somewhere to be straight after so I couldn’t and if someone wouldn’t tolerate a walk in policy for their business why expect it from paying clientele? I got a call back saying I could get a free session for as long as I could stay and by that time it was 5 so I decided I’d stay. I ended up getting in the machine at 5:30 and left at 5:45 and was late for my scheduled meeting afterwards. I specifically also stated that I was post op, so all of this happened while I was not too long out of surgery and cannot stand for extended periods so this made the whole experience more difficult. There was no courtesy to call me beforehand and tell me any of this I had to turn up and ring myself to find this all out. This was really disappointing as I was enjoying my experience up until this point and was looking to book in another set of 5 sessions. Furthermore the only form of apology I received was a free 15 min session because I was already sat there waiting and rang and arranged this myself. Not a whole free session or a discount on another package of sessions which I didn’t understand as this was quite a big mishap. Hopefully the system that manages the diary and staffing gets better and more co ordinated because otherwise it is a good service with great chambers. Big let down.

Couldn’t rave about Oxify enough, have seriously helped me with my long term health condition and has been a real saving grace for me. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating, I would highly recommend coming to them and trying it out- there’s endless health benefits and worth every penny spent. Thanks again guys

I had my first ever oxygen therapy treatment today. I have worked in salons and spas over many years and it was a fantastic experience to have something different. I made sure I took advantage and relaxed with my own meditation link. Elvira at the Nottinghamshire branch was brilliant at explaining what to expect and made sure I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend to others especially those with main issues and have the treatment again Thank you for making me so welcome and relaxed
