Harriet is truly a HEALER, in every sense of the word. I began seeing her in 2017. I had had 2 Discectomy surgeries on my L4/L5, due to herniated Discs. I was then seeing a PT named Gale, and she strapped me onto this stretching machine. It re-herniated my disc for a 3rd time. My only surgical option was spinal fusion, which I refused. I was living in a constant state of very high pain. I had radiating pain down my legs into my calves, that would wake me up at night. I wasn’t able to work, and it had completely turned my life upside down. I started seeing Harriet twice a week at 1st, then once a week for an hr. At some point I became pain free. I was able to start working again. I was able to start living again! I have a very physically demanding job, but my schedule varies. So based on how much I am working, I now see the Dr every 1-2 weeks for 1/2hr. I walk in and tell her what hurts. Today it’s my ankle, last week it was my left knee. A month ago, it was my right elbow and forearm. And she works her magic. Plus she always checks my back, kegels, neck, etc. and I leave feeling better! This woman is Amazing! I truly wish I had never gotten the 2 Discectomy surgeries in the 1st place. They didn’t help. But Dr Harriet did and does! I highly recommended her to everyone!

My surgeon strongly recommended pre- and post-surgery hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments, being convinced that it helps with the surgery and the healing process. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the incisions healed and the bruising and swelling diminished. During my consultation, Dr. Harriet Segelcke covered what hyperbaric oxygen therapy is and its benefits. She made sure I could do the treatments safely. I know from experience that she is also an excellent chiropractor. I am thrilled that her business is so close to my home and that the treatments are reasonably priced. Rachel is a lovely person and was very kind and flexible, working on weekends to accommodate my needs. She communicated with me during the treatments, letting me know when the proper pressure was reached. Rachel gave me her cell phone number to call or text if I needed anything while in the chamber. The treatments were very relaxing and comfortable, and I usually fell asleep during them. I highly recommend getting these treatments at Upgrades in Health and Wellness.

Dr Harriet Segelcke is my go to doctor for a my poor posture, pain in my shoulders and back. Additionally, highly recommended from family and friends. I asked if there was treatment for my longterm injury/epilepsy, Dr H has many ways at looking at it. (Short answer, “yes!”) Excellent customer Service!!!! Dr Segelcke’s employees are very smart and educated, and always show compassion when I walk in the door. I call Dr H "The Wizard" (You go in with pain and Leave pain free) If I could give a rating out of stars, (5 stars is not an accurate number) 1,000 Stars is more accurate.

How many ways can you say Wow? Dr Harriett is Tops in her field. I hurt my left shoulder, went to several providers: chiro, acupuncture, + massage. Wasn’t really getting any better. Finally heard of Dr Harriett. Was reluctant to go- because I live in Oakland, means 1 hour + each way. Am so thankful I went. Dr Harriett, is truly amazing. She fixed ALL the pain on the 1st visit, plus a multitude of health enhancement upgrades. I’m writing this review to hopefully spare you unnecessary suffering. I wish I had gone to her sooner. Regardless the distance, If it happens again I will go see Dr Harriett . She is the best.
