I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Anderson at the Wound Care Clinic. After months of struggling with a wound that wouldn’t heal, Dr. Anderson’s expertise and treatment plan worked wonders—my wound fully closed within just one month.

I had an amazing experience here with Dr. Anderson and Nurse Ryan. I felt they listened to me and gave me excellent recommendations for my wound healing plan. I did have a little trouble initially scheduling because the patient coordinator and front desk person were out sick around the same time, but I was able to schedule my appointment a few days after I got my initially referral. After my initial visit, I was able to schedule weekly checkups without any problems. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice and professional.

I would I could give zero stars. I can’t tell is Michelle the scheduling person is horrible at her job, or doesn’t want to do it. I’ve been calling for months to get in with a very bad leg wound. I’m limping around, bleeding and in severe pain. Probably everyone who wants to go there is. First I had to get a referral from my primary care doctor—easy. I got it. Nope that wasn’t enough I had to get one from my dermatologist too. Then my dermatologist had to fax all 27 pages of my medical record over. Not once, but 3 times because every time Michelle “didn’t get it.” Even though we had the receipts to prove, that she did. (Btw all of this is happening over WEEKS because Michelle is never “in the office” to determine if things are getting to her or not and doesn’t call back and the rest of the staff is nice but can’t do anything). Finally the last straw came today—she refused to schedule me STILL because my dermatologist didn’t give them my demographic information—which is my name, address, etc. nor could she GET IT FROM ME THE PATIENT. I have no words. This woman should be fired for her ineptitude and complete lack of care for patients. I’m going to Palomar wound care and I suggest that you do as well.

One of the worst experiences I have EVER had with any medical "care". I was referred here almost 2 months ago and approved by my insurance a month and a half ago to begin treatment and still recieved no treatment what so ever. I had to call them to ask what is going and still recieved nothing but disrespect and condescension by someone that wouldn't even give their name! They latter called me demanding PII(Personal Identifying Information) over the phone and when I asked if I could give all that in person they told me no and deleted my account in their system. Now they're demanding me to get another referral and approval letter through my insurance because they deleted my account because I didn't feel comfortable giving my PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION over the phone to some nameless stranger with a superiority complex. Terrible experience and terrible service. Avoid at all costs, there are so many more DECENT Hyperbaric chambers in San Diego.
