SCV Wound Care and Hyperbarics

I do not know the SCV Wound Care office, but I saw Dr. Ian Cook at the Center for Wound Care & Hyperbarics at Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, CA. Dr. Ian Cook is nothing short of amazing. He is very knowledgeable, kind and patient. The WHOLE staff, including Mary, Sara, Lora, Leticia, in fact every person I encountered, were exceptional! I was made to feel important, not just a number. Every step of my wound care journey was explained, and demonstrated, including my part at home between visits. They go above and beyond in caring for you, the patient, the person! My wound was healed in 4 short weeks, after eight weeks at the previous doctor's office. I will go there again, if the need ever arises, but I would HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE that needs this kind of expert care.

Clean office and rooms great front desk personnel. The doctors had a very nice bedside manner explained everything before attempting to clean my wound. I had a very deep gash with stitches inside and out on the knee and Dr. B took very well care of it as ER didn’t even clean out my room properly or give me antibiotics Dr. B cleaned. It told me exactly what to do when I went home took care of the stitches. Make sure all were taken out. I can’t say enough about them. They are great.

I had an open would at the top of my foot that wouldn’t go away so I went to see Dr Ian Cook at SCV Wound care. I was actually pleasantly surprised, as soon as I walked in the door everyone at the reception desk was soo friendly and all greeted me and asked about how I was doing. I was moved into a treatment room almost immediately by a nurse who was very receptive to my concerns. Dr Cook came in shortly after and discussed my treatment plan and what they would be doing during my visit. I was very impressed with the treatment I received and was given medicine and bandages as well as a home treatment plan. One of the medicines was a topical type patch that was nothing less than miraculous. I started growing a layer of skin over the would in a day and was healed in a week. I would highly recommend Dr Cook and SCV wound care. It was refreshing to get such personal and professional care Thank you

I've been suffering from an diabetic foot sore or over three years. Going to the VA for my healthcare. The only had me manage the wound daily with cleaners and bandages. The wound never improved. Then I heard about the SCV Wound care and hyperbolics. Trouble was VA wouldn't pay for it. The center allowed me to pay for 10 sessions upfront at an agreed price, which I think was readonable. Bottom line after 10 visits my wound went from Silver dollar size tto less than a dime. The office is neat and clean, and the staff are very friendly.

I was referred here due to an open wound that had not healed. The care has been exceptional. The doctor and nurses have provided outstanding service and I have marveled at how quickly the wound is finally closing.
