I can not even express how I feel about the experience I went through with North Kansas City Hospital and the wound care team. Not only the actual treatment of my amputation/wound but the complete care involving my mental well being.. accepting my amputation and my fears of the treatments. The team gave me what I needed, in every sense, to get through every step. This team is the best, and I will truly miss having them in my life. Thank you .from the bottom of my heart.

I didn’t know what to expect when my doc referred me to the Wound Center. The people were ever so friendly and nice! Amy, RN, could not have made it a better experience! She put me at ease and explained the process! Jean, the NP, was also super nice and helpful. They dealt with my wound. They gave me clear directions as to my part at home. I was given a return appointment time before leaving. It surely was a positive experience.
