1 total1-Star Review for Emory Wound Care at Midtown I had a very concerning experience at Emory Wound Care at Midtown. While I initially hoped they could help, my visit quickly raised red flags. The doctor was unable to check the pulse in my foot manually and didn't even have a stethoscope available. He ordered an ultrasound that ultimately proved unnecessary and a waste of money. The administrative issues were just as bad. The front desk staff couldn't schedule an appointment that worked with my availability. Then, the billing department sent claims that were repeatedly denied by my insurance due to incorrect coding. Despite being told by my insurance not to pay, Emory continues to demand payment. When I tried to address these issues and explain that their facility wasn't meeting my needs, the administration simply stated they would mark me as "not interested" and effectively abandoned my case. I sought care elsewhere and was shocked to find that Emory had tried to bill me over $2,000 for services that a local clinic resolved for just $125. I strongly advise staying away from this office. The front-of-house management is terrible, and the care I received was questionable and expensive.
