About
Switzerland's first hyperbaric oxygen therapy centre, founded in 1985 and recognised by the Swiss Society for Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine (SUHMS). Treatment takes place in a wheelchair-accessible multiplace chamber, usually seated, at up to 2 bar overpressure, typically as two 45-minute periods of 100% medical oxygen by mask or hood. Indications include diabetic wounds, radiation injury, chronic and jaw osteomyelitis and diving accidents. HBOT for recognised indications is a mandatory benefit of Swiss basic health insurance. Open Monday to Friday 08:00–16:00.
