I cannot say enough good things about ART Hyperbaric and the impact they had on my recovery. I recently underwent a very invasive L5-S1 surgery. The procedure involved both anterior and posterior entry. From the front, the surgeon replaced the disc between L5 and S1 and installed a plate with four screws. Then I was flipped over and had three additional incisions in my back—two through the back muscles and one directly over the spine—so two titanium rods and four more screws could be placed to fully support the fusion. Each of the back incisions was three to four inches long. It was a major operation with an expected long and painful recovery. This wasn’t my first spinal surgery. In 2019, I had a disc replaced at L4-L5, but that procedure was less invasive because it was only done from the front. Even so, that recovery was brutal. I couldn’t walk a mile until about six weeks post-op. My pain levels were high, my incisions took longer than expected to heal, and physical therapy had to be delayed. The first year after that surgery was extremely difficult. This time, I made a different decision. After watching my wife recover from a double mastectomy using hyperbaric therapy—and seeing firsthand how quickly her bruising and incisions healed—I decided to incorporate hyperbaric treatments into my own recovery. I completed 10 hyperbaric sessions and 20 laser treatments at ART Hyperbaric. The difference has been remarkable. At four weeks post-op, my incisions are fully healed. I am already walking two miles a day. My pain levels are dramatically lower compared to my first surgery, and overall I feel strong and optimistic. The recovery experience has been completely different—and significantly better—than what I went through in 2019. I genuinely attribute a large part of that to the hyperbaric and laser treatments I received at ART Hyperbaric. Beyond the results, the team is exceptional. Dr. Ken, Daniel, Brittany, and Dr. Ken’s wife are knowledgeable, professional, and truly compassionate. I’ve used hyperbaric oxygen therapy and laser treatments at the Advanced Recovery Center —it’s transformed how I feel. I’ve had wounds healed faster than ever, and the staff explained every step of the healing process. Their chambers are top-notch, spotless, and the whole setup is professional. If anyone’s on the fence, just go—it genuinely works wonders.

My digestive system is working regularly now. That’s to name one thing that I noticed after 5 treatments. My mind is clearer than before. The fog is gone. My toes don’t get cold like they use to in this cold weather. So, my blood circulation must have increased. The cold doesn’t bother me like it used to too. These are my results after a total of 7 sessions. My last 2 sessions were 120 minutes at 2.4 pressure. I came back for those 2 additional sessions because I noticed a big change in my overall all well being. I got the treatments because I did research on hyperbaric chambers on YouTube and I wanted to do my on test to see if it was beneficial to my health. I did it for health maintenance. I know it works for me. So, I will make it a part of my health journey. Maybe once or twice a year. And, Daniel and the whole team was great ! Family friendly vibe ! It’s difficult to find the words to express how phenomenal this facility and the people at ART Hyperbaric are. Firstly, the amount of knowledge from every single person who has a hand in helping you is incredible. You know right away you’re in the right hands when you understand their expertise in the topic of not only what hyperbaric does for your body but in the machines themselves. The facility is spotless, and they take great care to properly sanitize everything after each session. Their professionalism is matched by their kindness and compassion—every interaction feels supportive and uplifting. I came here due to my brain cancer, (astrocytoma type 2) and started with 20 sessions, back to back. Toward the end of my sessions I received an mri that no longer detected cancer. I still added 10 more sessions in the chamber after that. I do believe this form of therapy did contribute to my healing from surgery and also from the cancer. The sauna is top notch! Highly recommend! What I appreciate most is that they never suggest anything they don’t genuinely believe will benefit your specific situation. They listen, they care, and they meet you exactly where you are. I can’t recommend this place enough—it’s a wonderful complement to any treatment plan, or even if you’re simply looking to enhance your overall wellness.

We are so very grateful we found this amazing place! It is a beautiful state of the art facility. From the first phone call to the first Consultation with Dr. Ken, being so detailed and informative, we knew we had been blessed to find the right place for our daughter. She had complete ACL reconstruction and two lateral meniscus tares repaired due to a collegiate wrestling injury. In a matter of minutes, life as she knew it for the last five years looked different. We wanted to find the best holistic avenue to help her recover at a faster rate. Her first visit (5 days after surgery) she was very nervous. Dr. Ken and Daniel took their time with her and explained everything and made her feel at ease. Daniel was so awesome sitting with her and walking her through each step of the process. She felt a difference after her first visit! For the first time since surgery, she was able to sleep that night. She has now completed her fourth visit and is recovering at a faster rate than doctors expected. She has had minimal discomfort with PT and is ahead of schedule. Our huge concern was depression due to wrestling and heavy lifting being her whole life for so long. She has experienced no depression and her anxiety has diminished. She has been smiling through it all. We can not say enough great things about this amazing place and staff! It has given our daughter hope and confidence that she will return to the wrestling mat stronger and better than ever before at a faster time frame.
