About
The Alfred's hyperbaric service is Victoria's public referral unit for diving and hyperbaric medicine. Three pressurised rooms treat decompression illness, non-healing wounds and serious soft-tissue infections, including ICU inpatients. Head of service Dr Bridget Devaney. Routine hours Monday–Friday 7.30am–4.00pm; emergency access via Alfred switch.
