Delete your Hyperbaric account

For accounts on Hyperbaric — hyperbaric.app and the Hyperbaric app for iPhone and Android. Deleting your account is permanent.

Three ways to delete it

  1. In the Hyperbaric app: open Account, tap Delete account, then confirm.
  2. On the web: sign in on this page and press Delete my account.
  3. By email: write to [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We reply to confirm, and finish within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your account: your name, email address, password and the profile picture from Google or Apple.
  • Your sign-ins on every phone and browser, your push notification registrations and your notification settings.
  • The messages you sent to clinics through Hyperbaric, and the clinics’ replies to you.
  • Clinic claim requests you submitted, and your access to manage any clinic listing.
  • Reports you made about reviews while signed in, and any blocks between you and other members.

What stays, no longer linked to you

  • Reviews you wrote stay published under the name “Anonymous”, because other patients and each clinic’s rating rely on them. To remove a review entirely, delete it under My Reviews before you delete your account, or ask us by email.
  • A clinic listing you managed stays in the directory, where its owners can claim it again. Replies you sent from its inbox stay in those conversations without your name.
  • Clinics you messaged also received your message by email. Those copies are held by the clinic; ask the clinic directly if you want them deleted.
  • Anonymous usage statistics, which cannot identify you.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app or on this page removes your account from Hyperbaric immediately. Any remaining copies of your personal data, for example in backups, are erased within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep them.
